WHAT DO WE WANT? MORE FLUFFY CATS!
Shirley's cat is utterly gorgeous. She clutches the moggie to her heaving breast as she confronts the handsome new neighbour over all the noise and inconvenience caused by him taking over half the square to lay a bit of laminate flooring. He asks her and Drippy out for a "neighbourly drink", but Shirley looks nervous and says she has to shampoo the cat or something.

Ethel 2.0 is getting worse - she slips cutlery into her bag. Fool is worried. Meanwhile, Fill, Kyert, Mini-Fill and Sham move back into the Vic.

Chez Mitchell, the new couple (The Leroys) are middle class! They wear Boden rugby shirts and serve tea in china mugs. Mystery still surrounds the owner of the boulder houlder bra waved around in Thursday's ep - Mrs Leroy is as flat as a board - maybe its Mr Leroy's. They also make noises about consulting their solicitor and not moving because Psycho Nanny was an employee of Fill's yaddayadda. Fill realises that doing "Fill Mad" pinkness at them won't work, and retreats back to the Vic to shout at Fool for existing. Slutty shouts back, and tells Fill to be nice to old ladies. Fill is stumped.

NC sub-plot: TriniDad gets a "saucy letter" (© BBC EE updates site) from his rum-factory-owner's wife holiday romance person. Jim tries to help him write him something equally fruity - like I care or something.

Charlie: "Where's my money?". Billy: "Here it is...". Yes, of course, he has nicked the cash out of the safe. Billy spends the rest of the ep looking smug until somebody mentions that the auditor is coming in to "look at the books". Oh no!

Dot's micromanagement reaches manic levels. Poline finally snaps during a lecture on professional jealousy and tells her that she and Jim couldn't stand Dot rattling around the place, spying on the neighbours and generally getting under their feet, so they blackmailed Mr Opodopolus to make her a manager. Dot is shocked.
