SPUD FROM IPANEMA
Psycho Nanny glowers moodily at Fill and Kyert cooing soppily. Kyert finally persuades Fill to fly down to Rio and shout at hapless Brazilians. He gets Sham to make it up with Kyert and there's an "odd" moment in the pub where Denman recognises Kyert as an old girlfriend - stands to reason: since he must have shagged every woman in the East End apart from Poline, Dot and his mother.
Billy apologises for lying about the mouse, but then there's trouble with the new four-poster bed that he ordered out of "Changing Rooms Magazine". It's too big for the bedroom, so he and Bad Bruvva saw the legs off. Drippy eventually forgives him when he tells the truth and they are happy again. Oh dear, I feel my morning sickness coming on.
The Ferreiras have only one way to make a living on EE, and that is with a market stall. They have an unnecessarily fussy opening ceremony, with Bucks Fizz and music and stuff that Dad doesn't attend because he's sulking about some unspecified incident. The Slaters are cross because the Ferreiras' stall looks better than theirs, yet they use the same Cheap N Nasty wholesalers as Teen and Kellay. It's called "business", Teen. Ferreira Son No. 2 tries to be nice to the Slaters because...well I don't know why... and Dad F tells him off for being a girly pushover.
There's a whole load of Ferreira nonsense about Scally Mate being a scally and therefore unsuitable. Martin picks out a Bad Boy Fake Leather jacket circa 1981 and blackmails Teen Ferreira into letting him have it for nothing in return for not telling her dad about her snogging Scally Mate.
Vickney's master plan for staying in Walford is to be really really bad at job interviews. Somebody please give her a good smack.
Rickay's demon lunchtime lovemaking spoils Gus's book of poetry (they kick a bottle of wine over - personally, I'd be more worried about the carpet, but there you go). Gus is sad and threatens to move out.
