SLUTTY'S TRAGIC TOT TORMENT

What a con. They cut to next morning where Dot is sleeping on the sofa. Later on it all gets kind of Alan Bennet with Dot rambling on about the Pilgrim’s Progress and complaining about finding strange rubber gloves in the bathroom. She talks to Sonia about Jaymee and Poline tells her that Mark left to die. Doris, queen of Brazenness, comes round to apologise and introduce herself to Dot. Dot gives Jim a boring grey cardigan as a gift. I’m glad they are using all this symbolic knitwear because I would be unable to tell the difference between Dot and Doris’ personalities without it. In the end Dot says that she forgives Jim and Jim takes umbrage, saying that he hasn’t done anything wrong but that now he will, and stomps off to presumably go cruising for chicks and crack.

Sullen accidentally tips some milk on simpleton and simpleton starts squealing that she did it on purpose. Sullen says that nobody likes Simpleton and that she’s no better than she ought to be. Simpleton runs off to cry. When she comes back they bond over a rusty spigot (or something), apologise and decide to make a new start.

Pike tells Martin that he has to forgive Asif or else there is no reason for him to be in the programme. And also that he needs all the friends he can get. They make up and gaze adoringly at each other.

More boring Nita/Robbie dilemmas. More of Barry’s non comedy music subplot. More of Rickay/Nat’s sexploits. Juhneen has some lines (of dialogue) and Sham is sort of lurking around pining after Rickay, but nothing really interesting happens.

Slutty gets Dr Perv on his own and he thinks she is trying to get back with him. What a delusionoid. She tells him about the baybay and says that a) she’s not getting rid of it, b) they’re not getting back together and c) they will raise the baby together. Dr Perv thinks about it for a bit and says “cool” and they are all happy etc. Slutty worries about telling Teen but there’s no need for that. She goes back to the Vic and locks herself in the bathroom to put make-up on. When Fool checks on her a lot later she is crying and thinks she has had a miscarriage. Aww, poor Slutty (who does quality acting throughout the whole ep).
