JOJO A GO-GO
Drippy and Billy are all happy that they are reunited and it feels so good. Billy wants them to go and celebrate in the Vic that night and gets Kyert to babysit for them. Graham's conviction is on the front page of the local paper and everywhere he goes people gossip about it and make him pull angry faces. Dot feels bad for being unchristian or something. Drippy also experiences the gossip but they decide to be brave and go to the pub anyway. There is a moment of awkwardness and then Drippy breaks the ice with her heavenly angel powers and everything is alright. Watch out Moomin, there's someone even saintlier than you on the Square now. Perhaps they'll haver an "Ultimate Virtue" smack down competition or something.
Demi is coming back from orspital on Thursday. God only knows what she'll call the poor unfortunate child. Rosie Klebb guilt-trips Dot into coming to a welcome home party.
Teen is angry with Slutty but then she talks to some people and isn't, or something.
The blokes form a pub league football team. I can barely contain my lack of excitement.
Backstreet gets a letter from Kellay saying she is getting married and returning the Elizabeth duke heart he bought for her. Backstreet is sad. He says it isn'tr fair and why can't he get a girl when uglier stupider blokes can get girlfriends (he forgot to add "straighter" to that list). Fool tries to cheer him up.
JoJo says it is her 16th birthday and celebrates by picking fights with Teen and Big Mo. Mo relents though and says she will take her out for a treat (shoplifting at Netto?) later. JoJo is sad because she hasn't got a card from her mum, but then again if I was JoJo's mum I would disown her too. JoJo says she isn't going to school now that she is 16 and goes on the prowl and nicks a necklace from Mickney's stall while they are trying to sell and ugly bangle to Backstreet. She pretends it is a gift from her mum - so poignant. Jojo gets it into her pretty little head that Backstreet is some kind of high powered business man and makes him take her out for a birthday dinner. Backstreet is the worst fake business man ever and keeps saying "Yes, I'm always busy doing business and having business lunches with other businessmen who also do business. We make deals, you know!". He reminds me of Romy and Michelle pretending to invent Post-its. He can barely afford the meal and then she takes him back to hers for some illegal, under-age sex - Big Mo nearly catches them at it when she comes to take JoJo out for a treat, little suspecting that JoJo is getting a treat of another kind in Backstreet's skinny 12 year old looking arms.
